EADTrust has made public that Biometric Vox’s Firvox platform is the first voice-based electronic signature to meet all requirements.
The Firvox platform has been scrutinized by EADTrust in application of the specific assessment methodology for advanced voice-based electronic signatures.
The platform closely follows the regulatory framework of Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC.
According to art. 26:
The advanced electronic signature shall meet the following requirements:
- a) Be uniquely linked to the signatory.
- b) It must be capable of identifying the signatory.
- c) It is created using electronic signature creation data that the signatory can, with a high level of confidence, use under his exclusive control.
- d) Is linked to the data signed with it so that any subsequent changes to the data are detectable.
